Background & Settlement
Trump Heights (Ramat HaNasi Trump) is a mixed community settlement for secular and religious people, located in the northern Golan.
The settlement was established in 2021 following the Israeli government's decision in Jun
A Bit of History
The settlement began in 1981 as a Nahal outpost, after which a kibbutz named Kela Golan was established at the site. In 1991, a new gar'in of immigrants from the former Soviet Union arrived, and the settlement was designated as a community settlement named Bruchim. In 2003, a new neighborhood was built to the west, which over the years separated into an independent settlement named Kela Alon.
Following the government decision to establish the settlement 'Ramat Trump' at the current location of Bruchim-Kela, the Golan Regional Council, in partnership with the Settlement Division, decided to establish the physical and social infrastructure of the new settlement.
What Is Growing Here?
A thriving mixed community, where all residents take an active and meaningful part in community life through volunteering in various committees, taking initiative, and active engagement. Residents are required to demonstrate a high level of commitment to civic action and have the privilege of taking part in shaping the unique identity and character of a settlement in the making.
The settlement has an approved master plan (TABA) for 99 ground-level private plots ('Build Your Own Home'); within the master plan, playgrounds, public spaces, and community buildings are planned.
This is a community settlement, without agricultural farmsteads or parcels, with no plots designated for tourism, and the construction of B&Bs in residential plots will not be approved.
For more details on TABA master plan no. 219-0795401 on the TABA Now website.
In the future, the settlement is planned to grow to approximately 400 families.
