Education and Leisure
The human mosaic in Sha'al is characterized by warm individuals with wonderful interpersonal relations. The primary leisure activity is frequent home visits among moshav members, hosting one another, particularly on cold days. The moshav has a playground that serves as an afternoon gathering place for families and a play area for children.
The moshav has an active culture and education committee responsible for organizing diverse family activities on Jewish holidays (Purim party for adults, Shavuot celebrations for families, etc.) and other communal events.
The moshav features a members' club available for private events for a nominal fee. For traditional observers, the moshav has a synagogue holding services on weekends and Jewish holidays.
We would love to see you integrate with us into our various activities and become part of this wonderful community.
We recognize the challenges of relocating and being distant from extended families, which is why this small, cohesive, and embracing community makes an effort to serve as an extended family: meal trains for new mothers, helping one another with childcare, etc.
