Who We Are

HaTzvi – A Torah of Life that Raises the Students

Educational Concept

The school is a space where the Torah is the foundation for the growth of the students.

From the Torah, the students' personalities and their connection to the love of the people and the land are built. At the core of our work is the personal connection with the students.

We strive for a growing connection between teacher and student. We believe that the figure of the teacher is an important value at the base of the Talmud Torah. We believe in the good hidden within the student, and strive to realize it out of connection to the Torah and out of the totality of arenas and activities existing in the school.

  • Personal Connection, through personal connection we bring forth the student's strengths and the good within them is expressed.
  • Faith in the Student's Toil, who experiences the toil of the staff members as a personal role model.
  • Multiplicity of Spaces for Diverse Activities directed at cultivating creative capacities from within the students.
  1. A student Beit Midrash operating after school hours, where students divide into diverse learning groups according to their choice and study Torah.
  2. “Keter Torah” - we produce an annual culminating event called “Keter Torah” where students complete tractates in their own time with parents or in study pairs (chavrutot).
  3. Skill development through extracurricular classes and enrichment lessons in diverse fields such as: woodworking, darbuka drumming, animal corner, nature and environment, and arts and crafts.
  4. Developing resilience and life skills - in our Talmud Torah, physically and mentally challenging annual field journeys take place, accompanied by educators, demanding field days away from home, and learning habits for character development.
