A Talmud Torah that raises students with good character traits and proper conduct, who develop coping and growth capabilities, out of love for the Torah and fear of Heaven.
Golani Talmud Torah is an educational space for the growth of students with personal resilience, good character traits, and proper conduct.
We strive for excellence both in developing the students' personalities, and in holy and secular studies, with the help of a professional and dedicated teaching staff that serves as a personal example. Parents are full partners in the educational vision, and take part in its realization.
We operate in three primary ways to realize our educational vision:
Building spiritual stature through Torah: Chanting, learning, and deepening understanding experientially, through joy, with an emphasis on each student's personal developmental place.
Personal and emotional growth: As part of cultivating a stable, values-driven character, we provide our students with a wide range of tools, study skills, and life competencies. We encourage excellence across all subjects, fostering feelings of satisfaction and success.
A Talmud Torah that is a community: Students, parents, staff members, and all participants of the Talmud Torah partner together in fulfilling the educational vision.
Building Spiritual Stature Through Experiential Sacred Studies: Illustrating the crafts performed from wheat harvest to bread baking, life during biblical times, chanting verses with cantillation notes, and acquiring language skills directly from scriptural language.
Personalized Curricula in Sacred and General Studies: Differentiated learning, division into leveled study groups in sacred and general subjects, advanced enrichment, and personal inquiry projects in topics chosen by students' hearts.
Character Building and Resilience: Empowerment and therapy groups, life skills, social empowerment program, and the "Growing in Holiness" adolescent program.
A Talmud Torah that is a Community: Grandparents morning, roots projects, fathers and sons study, paired chavruta learning, and discussions with meaningful community figures.
