Educational Concept
The school works for the optimal personal development and advancement of its students, while instilling universal, social, and environmental values. The students will be caring human beings who contribute to society out of respect for others and tolerance for the other and their culture. The students will feel a sense of belonging to the community, to the Golan, to the Jewish people, and to its tradition. They will know the homeland of the Land of Israel, and cherish the State of Israel - a democratic and Zionist state of law, in the spirit of the Declaration of Independence. Students of Avital School will increase their knowledge and education, and reach a high level of achievement in various fields. They will possess communication skills (interpersonal, digital) and skills for independent learning. A maximum number of Avital School graduates will successfully integrate academically, socially, and occupationally in the future.
Core Values
Avital School believes in the principle of choice. Every boy and girl has strengths, dreams, and areas of uniqueness and excellence that are essential to express and fulfill. In this way, learning and teaching become meaningful and relevant, both for the learner and the educator. Both teacher and student take responsibility for learning and actively participate in school endeavor and creation.
We believe in learning as a value—learning that occurs across all spaces and times (in the classroom, outside it, in school spaces, and in community spaces) through collaboration and peer learning among teachers and students.
