The department is responsible for providing a response from the initial interest stage in absorption in the Golan, and connecting the interested party to the settlements relevant to them. The absorption process in the Golan includes becoming acquainted with the settlement and a formal process with the admissions committees and the ILA.

The department accompanies and trains the community absorption systems, where each settlement has an internal network of introduction committees and acclimatization committees, out of a desire for optimal connection between absorbed families and the Golan communities.

We see great importance in the balance between tradition and renewal, and devote thought, training, and guidance to the communities, in order to enable an absorption process that respects the existing community spirit and at the same time allows for diverse and strengthening growth.

Our Vision

The Demographic Growth and Absorption Department works to lead high-quality and balanced growth in the 33 rural settlements in the Golan, out of a commitment to strengthening communities, preserving the unique character of each settlement, and developing optimal conditions for families choosing to build their home in the Golan.

We aspire to continue and establish the Golan as a space of community, mutual responsibility, quality of life, and opportunities - a place where it is good to live, raise children, and grow together.
