Finance Department Vision
The Treasury Department will lead responsible, professional, and transparent financial management, maintaining budgetary and cash-flow stability, and serving as a central partner in promoting the Council's goals and providing optimal service to its residents.
Goals for the Coming Year
- Maintaining budgetary balance and controlled cash-flow management
- Strengthening own-source revenues and maximizing funding sources
- Improving control, transparency, and reporting
- Streamlining work processes and providing professional guidance to departments and settlements
Under its responsibility is the management of funds – from government ministries, property taxes (Arnona), levies, fees, and other receipts from various institutions – and their allocation to the various areas of activity across Council departments.
Additionally: Council employee salaries, preparation of budget reports and balance sheets, insurance of Council institutions, and departmental procurement.
